The best part about being from Wisconsin is that it is full of a lot of natural beauty. We also have many more state parks than most states. As a joke I saw a t-shirt that said, "Wisconsin, Illinois biggest State Park."
Anyways, this is from Devils Lake State park. Its the famous rock formation there called Devils Door. You can read all about it here.

This is a young man looking on as a older dancer took over. His expression is really focused. Center Street Dayz 2005, just 4 blocks from where I live. There are many street festivals here in Milwaukee, this is one of the last of the summer.

From Indian Summer 2005 at the Summerfest grounds this weekend. This man was very unapproachable for the picture. I asked, "May I?" as I showed him my camera, and he said, "I will not pose." I got this one shot of him. His face makeup was very different from the rest of the dressed men at the POW WOW. Indian Summer is officially my favorite festival at the grounds.
