Up close with some blue jeans. Red BW filters make everything so 'goth'. I am really addicted to shooting things up close. I have noticed when you get too close to someone, they really hate it. I have been practicing with people I know, but strangers are another thing.

Good professional news. I will be featured on the cover of Vital Source Magazine this month. I took a series of photos for a story about people who work retail, service industry jobs and after hours they are musicians, small business owners, painters among others. Joy Harmon, Art Director took some of my photos and drew on them partially to make them look like they are wearing superhero costumes. It looks so great I am really proud to be part of it.

Another pat I can give myself is that the cover never usually has photographs on the cover on the magazine, mostly illustration. For all of these recent developments I am glad to have the support I have gotten through this blog as well from certain unnamed people. Thank You! Posted by Picasa

If you are one of my Milwaukee readers. Here is a view about one city block off the shore of the Lake Michigan, while standing on ice of course. It was so cold that the ice was nearly four city blocks out.

Remember your gloves and hats kids, its 'cold' out there. Posted by Picasa

Recentally I took some photos for a friend of a friend. I knew what she looked like, and I was excited to shoot her red hair. I was lucky enough to find this overly green patch of grass here in the city. I think this turned out really well, and I hope Sarah thinks so to. I am also sure Sarah won't mind getting published on the net. ;) Posted by Picasa

I have really bad news. My camera is in the shop. When I dropped it off I was told November 29th would be the return date on it. I am as upset as you would expect me to be, however, I am glad this will not cost me a penny due to it being under warranty.

My plan is to take this time and go back through my catalog and post some photos I have missed. If there is anything you may want to see more of, please let me know and I dig through the stack.

Once again, thanks for the support I really do appreciate it.

Taken at Bacchus resturant in Milwaukee, WI. Its a left over from the magazine shot I did for Vital Source. I got to meet the chef Adam Sigel, very down to earth. Read all about him in the Ciao Baby section in Novembers issue. Posted by Picasa

I am in love with old cemetaries. When I was walking around one, I got to the back of the lot and saw this out house.

When you get to the top of Holy Hill you can climb 182 steps to the top of a tower and see this wonderfull view. If I am able, I would like to go back to catch all of those trees durring color change.

This statue is part of the stations at Holy Hill. There are several shrines dedicated to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ all starting with persecution to resurrection. You see these shrines as you walk up the hill towards the church at the top.

Sometimes being Jesus is exsausting.
